A ground black pepper has been recalled nationwide after New York Department of Agriculture Markets testing found salmonella in some bottles.
UBC Food Distributors, which issued the recall of Baraka Ground Black Pepper, said: “Production of the product has been suspended while the FDA and (UBC) continue their investigation as to the source of the problem.”

What’s recalled was sold in 7-ounce plastic bottles with a January 2026 expiration date on the back of the bottle.
