Atlanta is FAT’s farthest route and offers passengers more convenient travel options and seamless connectivity. A major global gateway, service through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport will provide California’s Central Valley residents with faster and easier access to busy metropolitan areas on the East Coast and sunny beaches in Florida as well as Latin America and the Caribbean, popular European destinations, and to Africa.

“We are extremely pleased with Delta Air Lines’ launch of new air service to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and its timeliness with the busy summer travel season,” said City of Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer. “As Fresno Yosemite International Airport embarks on a major terminal expansion project to grow our facility, air service is expanding and providing more opportunities to connect people with new places to visit or to conduct business while creating easy access to explore our great city and region.”

“By delivering more ways to access sought-after destinations throughout the U.S. West, we’re more ready than ever to take our customers on their next great adventures – with the service, reliability and convenience they’ve come to know and expect when flying Delta,” said Joe Esposito, Senior Vice President – Network Planning.

“Air service to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport consistently ranked as one of Fresno Yosemite International Airport’s Top 10 Markets for Central Valley travelers,” said Director of Aviation Henry Thompson. “We appreciate Delta Air Lines for their confidence in the Fresno market and for meeting the air service needs of our region by growing more destinations and access to the airline’s international network with nonstop service between Fresno and Atlanta.”

Delta Air Lines will operate the Atlanta route using the Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a schedule timed to accommodate one-day business trips or a multiple day stay.
