Interactive sessions, presentations, and panel discussions will cover key topics such as understanding the concept of digital transformation in the health care industry and future of health care delivery. Dr. Todd Norwood, senior director of clinical services at Omada Health, will present a keynote on "Better Healthcare Delivery Through Innovation, Technology and Data". Dr. Nupur Hajela will moderate a panel of community partners and experts from the field from 5 to 7 p.m. The Office of IdeaAS at Fresno will host a vendor showcase showcasing the latest hands-on technologies in virtual reality, augmented reality and real-world applications.

The College of Health and Human Services and the Department of Physical Therapy at Fresno State will host “HealthTech Horizon 2024: Pioneering Digital and Technology Frontiers in Healthcare Delivery” from 3 to 7 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Thursday, April 4, at the University Business Center (Room 191).

The event will explore the intersection between digital and technology transformation and health care, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the evolving landscape of health care technology and delivery.

Through a series of interactive sessions, presentations and panel discussions, participants will delve into key topics, including understanding the concept of digital transformation in health care, exploring innovative solutions in health care technology, analyzing challenges in implementing digital solutions and charting the future of health care delivery.

Following brief welcome remarks at 4:30 p.m. from Fresno State President Saúl Jiménez-Sandoval, Dr. Todd Norwood, senior director of clinical services at Omada Health, will present a keynote on “Better Healthcare Delivery Through Innovation, Technology and Data” from 4:30 to 5 p.m.

Dr. Nupur Hajela, assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and director of rehabilitation technologies and outcomes research at Fresno State, will moderate a panel of community partners and experts in the field from 5 to 7 p.m., on the topics of transformative impact of technology in the areas of digital care, virtual reality, digital therapeutics, remote therapeutic monitoring and artificial intelligence on overall health care education and delivery.

From 3 to 4 p.m., the Office of IDEAS at Fresno State will join other campus and community partners for a vendor showcase, highlighting the latest hands-on technologies in virtual reality, augmented reality and real-world applications.
