Kids truly say the darnedest things. And even though that is no secret, each time a child says something truly shocking, it takes us by surprise without fail.

NFL star Jon Feliciano just learned that all too well thanks to his own kids.

Feliciano has been a guard in the NFL for the last 9 years. During that time, he’s played for four teams: the Oakland Raiders, the Buffalo Bills, the New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers.

Just a few months ago, Feliciano at 31 years old played in the biggest game of his career when the 49ers took on the Kansas City Chiefs for Super Bowl LVIII, making him one of the few people in the world who can say they played in a Super Bowl.

However, despite this and the many more accolades he received during his football career, his children will always make sure he remains humble.

On April 3, Feliciano took to Instagram to share a conversation he had with his daughter.

After picking up his kids from “their sporty kids after school program where they play different sports each day,” Feliciano asked his daughter what sport she played today.

She responded, giving her dad a hint, “You have to guess. It’s the sport you failed at.”

Feliciano responded with his guess, telling his daughter, “Basketball.” But much to his surprise, his daughter didn’t play basketball that day.

“No football,” she told her dad. “You remember you lost the big game!”

Feliciano admitted in the end that “kids are ruthless.” You can say that again.
