MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man was found guilty on Wednesday for several counts of sexually assaulting two minor victims and will face decades in prison, the Madera County District Attorney’s Office announced on Thursday.

The DA says Nick Galindo was found guilty by a Madera Jury of 16 counts of lewd conduct with two different minor victims on Wednesday.

Officials say Galindo will be sentenced on May 24 and is facing a sentence of up to 33 years in prison.

The Madera County District Attorney’s Office says they thank and acknowledge the perseverance and courage of the two victims who testified in this case, the work of Detective Heath Middleton from the Madera Police Department who conducted the investigation, and the jury.
